Select the Polling option in the menu bar. Note: You must be in a scheduled meeting to see the Polling option. Only the original meeting host can edit or add polls during a meeting. If the host or co-host role changes, that user will only be able to launch polls previously created. Enabling Polling Polling for meetings is available to all faculty, staff, and students in Zoom.

The chat can be used to send Direct Messages to specific users. Beside the To: field , click Everyone in Meeting and select the desired user from the list. This will also be noted in your chat transcript. From this menu you can select the following options:.

You can also send files from your computer to participants using the chat panel. Selecting a file will place a link to the file in the chat panel for participants to download. Files can also be sent to all participants or directly to a single participant using the direct message feature. Zoom allows you to run multiple choice polls for participants during a session.
