Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. OK everyone, I believe I’ve solved this now purely by accident, I was trying to do something else. Right click the desktop and select ‘Personalize’. This should take you to background settings pic below. Where it says ‘Choose a fit’ click on the down arrow and select ‘Stretch’.

That should then have sorted it for you. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. This thread is locked. However, this option requires you to log off before changes come into effect, which makes it less useful for quick, on-the-fly display changes.

Right-click an empty area of the desktop and select “Screen Resolution. Click the “Resolution” drop-down menu and move the slider down to reduce resolution. The further down you move the slider, the lower the resolution becomes and the more magnified the screen appears. You may need to experiment to find the most suitable resolution. Click “Apply” and select “Keep Changes” in the confirmation screen once you’ve found a preview quality that works for you.

If you don’t like the results, click “Revert” and select a different resolution. Click “Apply,” and then “Log Off Now” in the dialog window that appears. Log back in to Windows to see the new settings in effect.
